Silver stamped bracelet with beautiful central oval turquoise stone. Hand made with excellent silversmithing skills of twisted wire work, around, and on either side of, the turquoise cabochon. Stone is also flanked by fan shape stamped shields over the heavy split band, with deep stamping on ends of bracelet. Navajo or Pueblo made in New Mexico or Arizona, 1940-50’s. Length: 5 5/8", width: 1 1/4", opening between ends: 1 1/8". Bracelets such as this one were made both for sale to tourists, as well as for personal wear. The cabochon is made from high quality Bisbee turquoise.
