Small but mighty hand wrought cuff bracelet by master silversmith Ralph Tawangyaouma, with single oval turquoise cabochon and his beautiful deep tell-tale stamps. Signed with his hallmark H for Hopi, and thundercloud.

Ralph Tawangyaouma (1894-1972 Hopi). Active 1910?-1964. An early and pioneering Hopi silversmith, he worked with silver for about 20 years before using his mark for the first time around 1930. He worked in various shops in Phoenix and Tucson, AZ in the early 1960s (including Vaughn's Indian Store, Ollie Kilpatrick's Trading Post, Santa Rita Indian Shop [with nephew Allen Pooyouma] and Fred Wilson's Indian Trading Post) for about 35 years.
