Marked 'U.S. Navajo 2', the number given to CG Wallace's shop by the US Dept. of the Interior’s Indian Arts and Crafts Board (IACB). Launched in 1938, the stamps created to instill customer confidence, that these were authentic, high quality, hand made pieces by Native Americans. This hand wrought bracelet with 3 oval turquoise cabochons is set on two ingot bands and a twisted flattened wire band along the center.
