Pueblo Wirework Bracelet, Earrings, and Brooch Set, with Translucent Prehnite Cabochons c. 1940

$1,200.00

Delicate silver wirework was something that Native Pueblo jewelers of the Southwest were known for. This exceptional set, designed with the influences of Spanish Colonial wire filigree, is made with cabochons of what I first thought to be Moss Agate, but upon further research I found that it is actually Prehnite (which is said to have healing properties of a calming nature). All three of the set are stamped on the back, 'Sterling', 'Hand Made' and what looks to be the initials 'HBR'. Whoever the silversmith was who made these pieces had an eye for beauty! The bracelet measures; inside length end to end: 5 3/8" Gap between ends: 1 1/2", Width: 2"
The pin measures; 2 1/4"w x 1 7/8"h. The earrings are clip on and measure: 1 1/4"h x 7/8"w each.
