1950's Southwestern Vintage Patio or "Squaw" Dress, Orange Corduroy with Gold Embroidered Ribbon & Rick Rack

Sorry, this item has sold.

These dresses were all the rage in the southwest during the 1940's and 50's. They were known by several names, "Patio Dress", "Squaw Dress", "Fiesta Dress". Now they're back! This two piece dress, hand made by Bonnie Bell of Tucson, is made of corduroy and has gold and white embroidered ribbon and gold ric-rac decorating it. The design is said to originate from Mexican and Native American full skirted style.

Broomstick 3 tiered skirt is full, has 3 metal hooks for closure and is ankle length. When fasted the waist measures 27" (but could easily be moved to make bigger or smaller by an inch or so).

Top has 10' Talon metal zipper up side, bust size 36" waist 28" and long sleeves.
