Navajo ring made with a Hubbell glass setting. By the 1930's Lorenzo Hubbell, owner of the Hubbell Trading Post in Ganado, AZ, brought in Czechoslovakian blue glass as a less expensive alternative to turquoise stone. These pieces are highly collected now. This ring is made with the blue Hubbell glass and thunderbirds is a great example of that period.
